We have planned to have our 2019 Reunion in beautiful Fort Lauderdale Florida at Sheraton Suites, Cypress Creek, Fort Lauderdale, on November 9th. 2019. We all live in different parts of the USA and Canada this will be a great opportunity for us to get together and renew our friendship. We all have lots of stories to tell and retell, from present and past. Make this occasion, an opportunity to get away from the busy life for few days . Come to the Sunshine state and have a vacation. Other than our get together , so much to do here. Take cruise to Caribbean, there are several inexpensive vacation packages from Florida to many Island countries including Cuba. We have negotiated with the hotel a great rate $89.00/per room/per night take advantage of this rate. Let us make the Florida reunion a great success.
New Jersey Reunion: After careful planning and preparations, HFMMIA’s 2015 reunion was successfully held at Airport Hilton Newark, NJ, on September 26th and 27th under the leadership of Holy Family alumni of New York. A bus trip to the Ground Zero memorial was part of the day program on Saturday, 26th which was followed by the gala dinner and entertainment in the evening. Alumni from various states of the U.S attended the reunion. Sr. Mary Aquinas Hamilton MMS represented the Medical Mission Sisters from the headquarters in Philadelphia.
A general body meeting was conducted Saturday evening and members for the 2016-2018 Executive Board were elected along with Regional Representatives for the states that were represented in the reunion.
Alumni unanimously insisted on having biennial national reunions. Houston alumni volunteered to host the 2017 reunion in their hometown.
On September 27th Sunday, the 2015 HFMMIA Reunion attendees traveled to Philadelphia to participate in the World Meeting of Families and the mass by Pope Francis during his historic visit to the U.S.
